Overview of challenging and difficult to laser-cut materials
Not all materials are as suitable for laser cutting as plywood and steel. Over the years, Raytech built an extensive parameter list for laser cutting challenging & difficult materials.
Laser hole drilling
For applications where a large amount of holes is required, laser drilling can provide an excellent solution. Holes and perforations are drilled without cutting a contour. This allows to drill a large amount of perforations with high precision.
Micro laser cutting stents
Stents are tubular medical devices in metal or synthetic material that are used to widen narrowed blood vessels. For one particular client, Raytech developed a tailor-made micro laser cutting machine for the production of stents.
Rotor-stator: lamination stacks
As a subcontractor, Raytech produces lamination stacks that are produced entirely by laser cutting and laser welding. These stacks, produced with high tolerances, are the heart of rotors and stators used in high-technology motors and resolvers.
Tailor-made tube laser machines
Raytech offers tube component manufacturing on high-speed laser machinery. In order to produce large series in an economic and competitive way, Raytech developed several tube laser machines.
New reference component
KlA Tencor was looking for a partner for the development of a new reference component. Raytech was able to produce this component by developing a multiple production process.
Gripper for high-tech weaving machines
Initially, the gripper consisted of seven parts which were produced with multiple production processes. Raytech converted these seven parts to a single part component with a single cutting process.
Shims with thickness of 0,01mm!
Spacers are used for accurate posisitioning and alignment of machines and components. Raytech has the ability to produce shims with a thickness starting from 0,01mm. Herefore, Raytech has several foil material coils on stock.
