Larger sizes are also possible (leaf springs with a length &gt; 1 m).<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Tolerances<\/span>: Depending on thickness and design, from 0.02 +\/-<\/p><p>A variety of <span style=\"color: #f3780b;\">materials<\/span> are available, some of the most common:<\/p><ul><li>Spring steel: C75 (1.1248), C100 (1.1274), \u2026<\/li><li>Spring stainless steel: RVS301 (1.4310)<\/li><li>Copper alloys: phosphor bronze CuSn6 (2.1020), brass CuZn37 (2.0321) and beryllium copper BeCu (2.1247)<\/li><\/ul><p>Other exotic materials are available on request, these are often in demand for their resistance to high temperatures or harsh environmental conditions.<\/p><p>We produce both small (prototypes possible) and <a href=\"https:\/\/raytech.be\/en\/large-quantity-laser-cutting\/\">large series<\/a> of leaf springs. With our extensive machinery and our refined production methods, all kinds of shapes can be produced via laser processing. Almost all shapes are possible thanks to the flexibility that laser cutting entails. mechanical springs based on the principle of bending, an elastic product that can be manufactured in the most diverse shapes. This spring action is caused by the reacting spring force produced by elastic deformation.<\/p><p>Leaf springs are one of the oldest mechanical spring variants and were already used in the Middle Ages.<\/p><p>One of the greatest characteristics of leaf springs is that they are made of spring band and\/or strip material and their length is often many times greater than their thickness.<\/p><p>Leaf springs are usually laser cut or wire EDM machined in single pieces and for small series. The desired final shape can be created with the aid of a press brake. Then, if necessary, they undergo heat treatment and surface treatment.<\/p><p>For larger series of leaf springs, the punching\/or punching method is usually used more.
