Shims with thickness of 0,01mm!
Spacers are used for accurate posisitioning and alignment of machines and components. Raytech has the ability to produce shims with a thickness starting from 0,01mm. Herefore, Raytech has several foil material coils on stock.
Laser cutting filter parts
Raytech has several possibilities to manufacture high precision filtration components. Discover different filter production techniques based on laser:
- Filter laser cutting from metal sheet
- Processing existing filter material (woven-knitted textile mesh, paper filter mats, metal mesh…)
- Building filters layer-by-layer (3D printing)
Fuel cells, laminations stacks and cooling fins
Thin metal sheets/plates are often used to create lamination cores. Separate laser cut plates are stacked to form one large assembly of sheet material.
Wire mesh and filter cloth laser cutting
Raytech cuts filter material using laser technology. Both CO2 and fiber laser machines are used for cutting filter mats in shape. Let’s have a look at the main advantages of laser cutting filters:
Chromaluxe photo plates can be cut to size using laser cutting. Compared to cutting techniques using cutting tools, laser cutting has some specific advantages when processing Chromaluxe sublimation plate.
Foil laser cutting
Foils with a thickness starting from +/-0,01mm can be cut with micro laser cutting. Considering an average human hair is about 0,05mm, it’s quite special that it’s possible to cut foils that are 5 times thinner than a human hair.
Rotor-stator: lamination stacks
As a subcontractor, Raytech produces lamination stacks that are produced entirely by laser cutting and laser welding. These stacks, produced with high tolerances, are the heart of rotors and stators used in high-technology motors and resolvers.
Gripper for high-tech weaving machines
Initially, the gripper consisted of seven parts which were produced with multiple production processes. Raytech converted these seven parts to a single part component with a single cutting process.
Micro laser cutting stents
Stents are tubular medical devices in metal or synthetic material that are used to widen narrowed blood vessels. For one particular client, Raytech developed a tailor-made micro laser cutting machine for the production of stents.
New reference component
KlA Tencor was looking for a partner for the development of a new reference component. Raytech was able to produce this component by developing a multiple production process.
Laser cutting CMF implants
Using micro laser cutting, Raytech succeeds in producing high-precision cranio maxillofacial implants. Besides laser cutting an additional laser marking can be applied to increase traceability.
Drive drums vinyl cutters
Cutters are used to cut designs (texts, shapes, logos) from various materials available on a roll. Raytech produces drive rolls for Summa that are installed in their cutting systems.
Text plates, artworks and monuments
Laser cutting makes it possible to cut fast, crazy and striking shapes from sheet material. The technique of laser cutting is therefore particularly interesting for making text plates, artworks, street furniture and monuments.
